As a child, I grew up in a pretty traditional Lutheran setting. By early high school, I was giving sermons from the pulpit about the Pagan roots to most of theChristian ritual. Easter was a specifically easy sermon to be making, what with Easter being named after the German goddess Oester. I was never impressed with the Jewish version of history: like Santa Claus, "the math" just never worked
